I'm kind of obsessed with h'ordeuvres, small plates, tiny spoons, "what is this, a dessert for ants?" moments (to be revisited). I want to own all things Libbey glassware, starting with the square bowls with spoons (to the right).
Small bites dinner party menu is as follows:
cream cheese buckwheat blini with everything topping, smoked salmon, and caper lemon aioli (a play on bagel and lox)
Asian beef sliders with caramelized onions, avocado [not pictured], (vegan!) sriracha mayo on homemade buttery brioche
Kahlua chocolate mousse over dulce de leche (left over from snickers cheesecake - from Whole Foods, by the way) with vanilla meringue cookie
lychee sherbet (made with almond milk) with balsamic drizzle
Next time, wontons served in soup spoons. Too cute.
