Last morning of toasts pre ceramics.
avocado, everything bagel, pea shoots
parsley chimi (oregano, red wine vinegar, black garlic, preserved lemon, chili, olive oil)
strawberry hojicha tea
Revisiting Neapolitan house things over a test batch of corn youtiao did not turn out as I hoped. Too dense - might reduce corn flour, might eliminate it all together, knead it longer?
Em brought over some stonefruit which actually went perfectly with the babaozhou as an appetite opener.
My only savory offer (along with the corn youtiao sticks) were a remaining container of Eric's pozole soup dumplings that I piled on a blate to steam.
Pantry item of the day was mini hojicha strawberry tiramisu of sorts. But I didn't have mascarpone so I thickened some Mexican crema with lemon juice and sweetened it with strawberry cheong. And then layered it with lady fingers soaked in hojicha tea.
mmmyum this was a good bite.
emptied items:
squid snack
freezer pozole dumps
lady fingers
a bottle of wine
