fast fifteen

What a hazy blur day fifteen was. Pretty sure it just vaporized.
I do remember heating up Joyce's scallion pancakes and putting a fried egg on top with furikake and Malta herb salt.
I remember savoring it while staring blankly at my work computer.

I remember starting a couple recipes that had been bouncing in my head, so tomorrow should be a more eventful day.
I remember a late lunch that was enough to bleed into dinner like the early days of quarantine.
More cabbage. More onion. More Chinese sausage. Simply sauteed with garlic.
By the way, one head of cabbage and one large onion, when cut into quarters, makes four meals and some change for one. V economical.
Made pork fat toasted Xi'an spiced rice in bulk for the freezer stash. And topped a little bowl of it with one soy cured yolk that had been curing for a couple weeks. It's basically translucent umami butter.
Washed down with cup of pu'er tea.
Eaten while basking in the sun on the front porch.
...and definitely wearing pants.
