Friday fire pit feast was a mini congee bar. That was cold by the time Joyce and Emily arrived because I jumped the gun in prep as I always do. What can I say - I get excited.

Joyce's strawberry rhubarb buckwheat galette and a not-so-dreamy Thai tea tiramisu for dessert.
So apparently ladyfingers are made with whole eggs and not just whites as I assumed. I disregarded this and went ahead with the egg whites only but failed to adjust the flour accordingly. Rookie mistake. My ~vision~ was only slightly shattered by the rock hard lady fingers.
We'll revisit how to fix this later.
