Kind of like this open faced potato tartine, adapted from here.  How do you get the potato so perfectly browned?  Mine came out kind of drained of color and you could still see the rawness peaking out.  So I had to cover it with toppings.

Ironically, the photos disappeared from my camera before I could upload them to my computer... errrrr.  Excuses to buy more smoked salmon//goat cheese, to perfect my potato frying abilities.
Didn't necessarily improve.  Maybe a little?
