Bipolar weather is everywhere.
Spent a week of my life, living my life as per usual...just re-located north a bit.
Georgetown is the cutest thing ever. If we could just cut it out and paste it over Franklin Street, yes, thank you, a little to the left, right there, excellent.
Jeanette's mousse but Alicia's "boobs"
- perspective is everything.
Let me just preface this with the fact that prior to this meal, I had, not only spent an entire day on the bus with nothing in my stomach, but had also been craving (a stomach wrenching crave) a burger. But a good burger. Aka, none of the repetitive shit on campus.
Brie on a burger. So simple. So obvious. So why-didn't-I-think-of-this-before?!?!
I make sandwiches and crepes with brie... why couldn't my brain just take it one step further? Thank you Thunder. By the end of my meal, the brie had coated the juicy Angus beef patty. Die. Die all over the place. And the potato salad was perfect, probably one of the best I've had in my life - given that I don't eat it often and am not a huge fan of mayo.
Oh yeah, I got the Ventura Highway: beef burger with brie, caramelized red onion relish, watercress, tomato & remoulade.
I was kind of obsessed with brie for the following month.
Jeanette's turkey burger topped with swiss, avocado, granny smith apples and remoulade.
I didn't taste it but if you love avocado, go for it - they pile it on aka big, thick slices... not a whimpy spread between the cheeses like Jimmy John's (which we always end up complaining about between bites).
College = development of a sweet tooth
Pecans + froyo = love. The texture of the pecans in the froyo. Mmm. Honeydew. Mmm. Raspberry. Mmm. LOTS OF PECANS. MMM.
and Jeanette's uber dense red velvet cupcake from Sprinkles - not as good as my froyo.
Oh sweet cakes that looks good! I just ate chocolate cake but it this makes me want to eat again lol
