Just a little list i found here. I thought it was cute since I often view life in lists. Yes, I read through all one hundred and one... and even bolded the things I've experienced.
- coloring (yes, grown-ups can do it, too)
- crisp cotton sheets
- soft skin
- old family recipes [I don't know if we have any... maybe... dumplings? old country recipe]
- the first daffodils of spring
- sleeping in [only recently started it this year]
- an exercise endorphin high [everything is pretty much painless after one of these]
- window boxes
- a perfect cup of coffee [tea is better]
- a genuine compliment (giving or receiving)
- the way babies smell [baby powder]
- a handwritten letter [ah, elementary school days]
- waking up in a good mood...for no real reason
- singing in the shower
- finding a couple forgotten dollars in your pocket [I don't know why this is so fun because it was always your money to begin with... most of the time]
- doing something nice for your neighbor
- a home cooked meal
- laughing
- movie theater popcorn [ew. I've never encounter good movie theater popcorn]
- playing hookey [sorta]
- a bubble bath [only fun in a jacuzzi with the jets on]
- swimming [note: must go skinny dipping]
- an afternoon nap [except when you wake up to a pile of unfinished homework]
- street musicians [A+ to the guy banging on buckets on Franklin... cept not]
- your favorite song
- saying thank you [which feels significantly different than saying thanks]
- helping someone in need [well I'm not sure if volunteering is quite the same thing]
- old fashioned photo booths
- fresh whipped cream
- inspiring blogs
- a glass of wine [only a formal one at a gown and tux dinner party]
- rainy afternoons
- the funny things kids say
- a novel you can get lost in
- finding the perfect piece of clothing...on sale [ultimate excitement]
- clean laundry
- the wind in your hair
- treating the person behind you at the drive-thru
- sharing an umbrella
- the smell of lavender [and the taste]
- a long walk that clears your head

- smiling at a stranger
- eating with chopsticks (Chinese food optional)

I think this just made me appreciate life a little bit more.
It's almost spring break and we're done learning in all my classes, Duke decisions come out Monday and I have very little homework, I forgot my lunch but Andrew bought me pizza, Olivia had a rainbow 'cran' and Mahreed drew me a picture with it, and I conversed-ish with different people today.
And once again... perfect. weather.
