thirtytwo

 Two nights ago I stayed up so late anxiously planning meal possibilities.
During this quiet late night hour, I finished a container of pasta and baked off a loaf of milk bread - lookat'er peaking over my new pullman:

One night ago, I massaged some shio koji into three pork cutlets.

Tonight is the night.


Shio cutlets get breaded in toasted panko to look like giant nuggets.
One section of milkbread gets halved for two thicc slices to hug my big little pork nugget and slathered with mayo to toast. One side gets more mayo + purple cabbage. The other gets a quick homemade katsu sauce (canned tomatoes, garlic, brown sugar, oyster sauce, worchestershire).
Inhaled messily with more globs of katsu sauce and shreds of cabbage. Washed down with a peachy beer. Followed by a peachy jelly for dessert.

Bonus work things:
Blueberry corn froyo from yesterday was thick and clean (would add more corn myself).
Bottled the pomegranate wine I started on Monday with some already-fermenting-in-the-fridge pom seeds. We'll know tomorrow what ABV we're talking about.

We're over tryna get a pretty shot. We're leaning into the afternoon golden hour shadows in my dim kitchen, and we're going to soak in the morning light of my future nook.
