When I have to wake up early, I get so much done, and it's nice. But when I don't have to wake up early, I stay in bed until the afternoon and am barely conscious of the world outside.
I love days when I can stay distracted. This cake was an attempt to use up all my colorful buttercream on a little snack cake: olive oil from the freezer archives filled with raspberry curd with coffee buttercream background. Now what do I do with the awkward amount of buttercream left.
An opportunity arose to get some items on GoPuff because apparently MindBody will just occasionally send you little giftcards? That's where I got my edibles last time - it almost seemed like a scam but then they showed up as promised. Well, I half broke my own rule and now have frozen samosas and hot pockets in the freezer, but in my defense, I was needing to meet the minimum spend and... idk ya I could've just gotten that mango passion bubly instead...
Remember that malt wheat bread I made a few days ago? Well the density of them really only felt suited for little bebe toasts.
We have carrot top chimi with the rest of that shredded cheese.
Toasted walnut, miso, and preserved lemon (with a touch of agave).
Simple almond butter and raspberry curd with fortuitous fresh raspberries.
