last full weekend of the year in Oakland was dedicated to myself and a couple dumplings.
Sat was for powering through a few ceramic pieces before the studio is closed for the year and then driving down to San Jose to share Jose's dumplings with him [post to come] - picked up a few fuyu persimmons from a neighbors free boxes along the way.
Sun was for checking out an alebrije popup at Comal, eating sopes with a sweet apple cider + rum concoction, and then walking back to mine to share Dan's dumplings with him [post to come].
Sun night is for dreading the last week of work and thinking about how to stretch and use the last of my fridge perishables.
