nonononononono

Wherever I go, I just end up eating Asian food. We walked a couple blocks to NONONO, and I was only slightly hung up on what the name means. Isn't の like one of those parts of speech that connects or fills things? Anyways.

Can I literally get this as a poster for my bedroom?

Scallop and uni carpaccio with basil sauce has awakened all these suppressed uni cravings. I intended to savor every bite, but in practice I shoved each nugget into my gullet so fast, it's a good thing the scallop basically melted away.

Definitely had to get yakitori at the yakitori place. Pictured: chicken heart, breast with scallion, back cartilage.
Not pictured: chicken thigh, mala wings that weren't mala enough, short rib, and shisitos (when they ran out of skin :( ).

If you find yourself braving a slight chill to eat outdoors here, the soupy cod roe cream udon with pork and veggies will warm you up and weigh you down and maybe you'll need a gallon of water immediately following your last bite, but you'll be happy about it.
