blue plate club

i subsist mostly on simple meals
composed of bits and pieces and leftovers and minimal prep time
plated on my Heath plate to elevate my mood




grilled gouda on the runt-of-the-litter potato roll
with a healthy grind of pepper


over crisped potato skins made from potato skin scraps
rubbed with doenjang butter

funnel-cake-drawn sourdough discard pancake
soy + hojicha syrup marinated egg


sourdough discard pancake fried directly on egg

sourdough toast, gouda, tomato slices
herb salt and healthy grinds of pepper


sourdough toast
canned sardine oil + za'atar + fresh parsley

bonus Saturday afternoon lunch in bed:
spicy smashed cucumber salad
chimichurri mix + heap of plantain chips + Costco rotisserie chicken
