Temporary social media cleanse kind of doing its job. Midday fikas giving me back some life.
Today was Joyce's gochujang sheet pan chicken with cute little turnips from Dirty Girl and my garlic spinach noods.
Eaten until my butt got wet in the freshly cut grass.


There was a cyclops smiley in my blueberry corn bread:
(and a hair... oops, so embarrassing)

So basically days have become trying to stay as still as possible until the sun starts to set and there's enough of a cool breeze to sit outside where it's cooler than inside for dinner.
Leftover noods straight out of the pot.
Eaten while listening to a podcast about why we love sharing meals.
garlic butter spinach noods
for spinach noods:
1 + 7/8c flour
1/8c spinach powder
1/2t salt
5/8c water
-knead, rest, roll out
-cut into thick strips
-boil about 1min to cook

for sauce:
lots of butter
half a bulb of garlic, sliced
sesame seeds
julienned carrots (or other veg or no veg)
scallions
-melt butter and fry garlic until toasty and brown
-sprinkle in sesame seeds
-add in veg, followed by noods, stir quickly
-finish with scallions
