Look at this beautiful cross section fresh out of the freezer. Even the divot an isomalt iceberg left looks like a crashing wave. And I am enamored.
My work computer actually died. It could not be revived today. I was floating around aimlessly. So upsetting our dependence on technology.
I was eating my brie and crackers and the rest of my parsley chimi for lunch when the IT guy walked in to see a literal child nibbling on her cheese and crackers. Help me, I can't do anything.
I got home and scarfed down this bowl of rice with ikura [with a strawberry choeng + lime + tonic bevy] while making an enormous pan of prawn paella. I grossly underestimated how much rice I had left. And here we have enough paella to feed.. well my family if I ever cooked for them while I'm in NC.
I forgot the peas, but honestly even if I did remember, where would they go? The rice was dangerously close to overflowing but I kept taking little tester bites as it simmered away.
I did have second dinner once I smelled the slight char aroma of burnt rice, telling me it was definitely done. The shromps are so juicy, and that mixed seafood stock was so so flavorful. There's no way I could finish this entire thing.. but also... could I finish this entire thing...?
emptied items:
paella rice
these dried chili things I got from.. idk where
freezer shrimp stock
strawberry cheong
1 can tonic
