Concept: vegetarian sichuan favorites
This idea had been bouncing around in my head for years now. You see, my first boss could handle spice like no one I've seen before and he loveeeedddd Sichuan food. Or he thought he did. He was also a vegetarian. BUT ALL THE BEST DISHES ARE PORK (or beef or fish) BASED.
Well, I'll do it for the challenge.
Trial test of twice cooked oyster mushrooms with cold noodles and vinegary napa cabbage.
twice cooked oyster mushrooms (roasted and then stir fried)
water boiled sweet potato (instead of beef or fish) - broth seasoned with vegemite
mapo tofu with @beyond beef crumbles and homemade veg broth
classi tomato cooked egg
cold tofu salad with century egg
Athena's sweet potato cold noodles and smashed cucumber salad
sans chili
but lots of chili on the side
