SLC - eating on the go with someone else part 3

We got an unintentionally late start to the day the morning we were supposed to start driving home. But I did feel so refreshed when I woke up with the sun. So it was worth it.
The morning consisted of compiling every 90s/00s throwback we could think of while driving back west, which unexpectedly landed us by this quiet lake to finish our PR food leftovers and finally break into this peach Hef because there's almost nothing I enjoy more than outdoor day drinking. (Okay, after sleeping and snacking and generally just putting things in my mouth.)

Our original plans got a bit derailed again. But we learned that sometimes that's a blessing in disguise. It gave us time to climb up over Lake Tahoe to catch the sunset... along with millions of other groups of people - one of which had no qualms with wordlessly invading our personal space.
But the view was worth it. Especially with a couple more peachy hefs.

Except this one. I took this one.
Sometime before two geese friends started circling us because they heard the plantain chip bag crinkle. They're like little pups. Peaking over the dock and watching us from the sides of their eyes in anticipation for any dropped food crumbs. Or more likely, like Joyce when she hears me turn on the stove from her room.

We even managed to fit in quick stop for lunch at Maydoon. I had lowkey been craving Persian food since watching that episode of Ugly Delicious so it didn't take must convincing for an opportunity to munch on tahdig. Would highly recommend the gormeh sabzi (slow cooked stew of fresh herbs, kidney beans, dried lime, and chunks of beef) because it comes with rice with a crispy crunchy piece of tahdig, and stewed dried lime is somehow one of the best tart things I've put in my mouth.

Would also recommend the cocktails. The mast have is vanilla infused vodka, pomegranate liqueur, sour cherry syrup and a splash of yogurt, which reminds me of a thic alcoholic lassi but with berry-y flavors.
Or get the albaloo surprise for basically the same thing sans yogurt for a refreshing option.

I never order desserts but how can we not when saffron, rosewater, and pistachio ice cream is on the menu? Can't help but think these scoops would go great in an alcoholic milkshake too... or tucked into a vanilla cake... mmm with figs.
