straight eight

Today was a rather uninspiring day.
Today I didn't leave my apartment because it was so gloomy outside.
Today was a leftovers day eaten while babysitting sourdough in my chilly apartment.

At least until dinner time:
Joyce's spicy pork marinade went into some spaghetti inspired by Mandy.

Found materials:
-sour cream and two cheese packets from Laura's excess meal kits
-Joyce's excess spicy pork marinade
-pork fat reserve
-flour
-spaghetti
-onion and cabbage

Method:
Make a toasty roux with about 2T pork fat and 2T flour. Add sour cream packet and some water to loosen it up (and don't burn your hand in the process like I did). Add several heaping spoonfuls of gochujang marinade to taste. Add slabs of cheese and stir until melted. Add water as needed if it starts burning.
Meanwhile boil spaghetti until al dente. Chop up quarter of an onion and quarter of a cabbage and toast up until charred and just softened. Mix noods and veg into cheesy spicy creamy sauce.

Shoulda coulda wouldas - use broth instead of water to dilute sauce, add mushrooms to veg mix, add sunny side up egg on top
